PresenTense's Chicago node is growing strong, and I'm having a great time out here meeting the new folks getting involved. Tonight we went to a bar called Guthrie's Tavern for boardgames, and tomorrow we have two events that, if you're in Chicago, we'd love to see you at:

It was an awesome party for a good cause last night at the Jerusalem hub -- and if you weren't able to get here in person, we hope you checked out our live-feed.

But the party isn't over! To share your vision, click herepresentensefellowship.org.

The tables are set, and the candels are almost lit...and shabbat is coming. Shabbat shalom!

Interested in developing an international movement focused on unleashing the creative potential of the Jewish People? Working with activists and communities around the world and across the political spectrum to help generate dialogue and new ideas for educational programming and events?

Think for a second: when was the last time you stayed in one city or geographic region for more than one year?

PresenTense 2008 Fellow Becca Linden's venture, the Lifchitz Family Philanthropy, officially received its first significant investment last week, bringing in over $10K for the first round. More exciting than the financial investment was the buy-in of the members of the clan, and the younger ones at that, who are interested in being involved in the teen philanthropy aspects of the organization.

Seeking an exciting job at the cutting edge of the Jewish and social entrepreneurial worlds with huge growth potential? PresenTense could be the place for you. We're seeking the best of the best to head up our pioneering corps--with positions currently available in Jerusalem and Boston. See our jobs page for more information.

With a new issue out, PT Magazine editors and writers got together in Chicago. You in Chicago? Then get involved at chicago@presentense.org
