Cleaning up and shipping out

It's 11:48am and we've been packing boxes all morning -- the summer Institute is over, and with it the sacred space of the Institute is in transition...and that made me wonder: how did the Israelites find the Mishkan as they were taking it apart in order to move it? I know, much of the Mishkan was carried or rolled in one piece--but the Mishkan was described to Bezalel in such a way that would indicate mobility as a primary interest, something that makes sense for a people on their desert hike. And so there must have been that liminal period, that time between time, when the Mishkan was nothing but wood poles and gold loops, folded up sheets and large stones.
How did the person folding the tent-flap behold the house of God?
So much magic went into this summer--a blessing of luck and coincidence, of return on investment and golden moments. And now, with the floor covered with papers, the plastic bags blown around by the fans, the fridge empty and the tea all boxed away...it's as if it was all a divine dream.
