FedHead Circles
PresenTense has always seen it as its mission to connect the spirit and ideas of our entrepreneurial community with the mainstays of the Jewish Community. With that in mind, PresenTense just launched a pilot version of a project codenamed FedHeads -- a monthly working-group series bringing together young Federation professionals from across the United States in a moderated forum to raise common challenges and develop informed solutions. Utilizing cutting edge methodology and developing supporting technology, PresenTense is actively spurring innovation on a grassroots level within a community institution. During each FedHead session, one federation young professional working in the field of youth engagement presents a dilemma or challenge they are facing in their work. This progresses into a workshop where the professional's peers clarify the issue at hand then suggest solutions.
The success of the Federations' youth engagement activities lies within PresenTense's mission to enrich the lives of the Jewish People by equipping today's socially-minded pioneers to realize their creative potential within a Jewish framework. The target demographic of these professionals is one PresenTense has particular experience working with, and has successfully engaged through numerous programs and events. We're seeking to slowly scale this model out to a broader group of Federation professionals, and are encouraged by the positive feedback we've received from our initial assessment.
