Questions? We've Got Answers

What is the PresenTense Institute?

The PresenTense Institute is an accelerator for social ventures that seek to solve problems facing the Jewish People and the World. We help individual social entrepreneurs take their ideas, build them into pioneering expeditions, and launch them into a supportive community committed to its success.

When and Where?

The PresenTense Institute's summer session is held in Jerusalem for six weeks over the summer. The 2010 Institute is from June 10 - July 24. Fellows are expected to stay the entire summer, in order to complete the program and launch their ventures in PresenTense's acclaimed Launch Night.

How much does it cost?

The PresenTense Fellowship is a scholarship-supported program, covering the cost of participation for chosen fellows at no cost to admitted fellows. PresenTense Fellows have their tuition covered for the course of the six weeks, as well as the option to live in dormitory-style accommodations that includes access to food staples in the residency kitchen. Travel is not covered. Fellows who are given named scholarships are expected to maintain regular contact with their sponsors.
