What is PresenTense?
PresenTense is a young, content-driven magazine committed to providing the perspective of Jews in their 20s and 30s on issues that matter to the Jewish community, in the here and now.

PresenTense’s first five issues reached a readership of 25,000 in cities across the US, Canada, and Israel, including New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC, Los Angeles, the Bay Area, Seattle, Columbus, Moscow, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

For Issues Six and Seven, PresenTense is expanding its distribution to reach over 50,000 readers and looking to increase its reach in all of its already-hit target markets, while reaching new communities and readers across the United States, Canada, and around the world.

What else does PresenTense do?
PresenTense is more than just a magazine—it is an opportunity for engagement. We have run salons and peer-lectures in New York, Boston, and Chicago and on college campuses in connection with our articles and the ideas and experiences of our contributors. Our summer institute for Creative Zionism, in its second year, helps social entrepreneurs turn their ideas and projects in the arts, philanthropy, education, hi-tech, and business into reality, impacting the Jewish community and the world.

Through its activities and workshops, PresenTense is building a self-organizing community of creative Jews who take Jewish life seriously and seek to redefine how Jewish life is to be lived, in the present tense.
