We like to think of PresenTense as an "organizing framework," rather than an "organization," because much of PresenTense's content, direction, and purpose is created by its participants. In this way PresenTense is itself modeled after the open source frameworks of the information age, where basic values form a platform within which users are invited to create their own content.

The PresenTense Network is the community of volunteers, innovators, supporters, and initiators who make up PresenTense, and we truly believe that the sum of the social capital building around PresenTense is far greater than each individual. The connections being created within the PresenTense Network--between entrepreneurs, programmers, educators, investors, philosophers and more--are the paths through which we hope PresenTense and its member will be able to solve major problems facing the Jewish People, Israel, and the world.
